A Simple Guide To Cricket
Cricket might seem a bit confusing at first but once you gain proper knowledge and understanding on its a fun sport to watch it has drama emotions everything.
BASICS :- There are two teams of 11 players each . One team bats and the other team bowls. Then basic aim for each team is to score more runs than the opposition.
INNINGS AND OVERS :- in limited overs format like T20 or ODI each team gets a certain number of overs like 20 or 50 overs and each team gets one inning each to score runs where in the test cricket each team gets two innings without the limit of overs to score runs where.
RULES :- if u run between the wickets you get to score 1-4 runs just by completing the run reaching the strike by both the players at each side. When the ball reaches the boundary after bouncing or touching the ground it is declared as 4 and if the ball crosses the boundary without touching the ground then its a six . Six runs are the maximum runs which you can score if its a fair delivery. There are generally 10 different ways to get out but the prominent ones are being bowled when the bails fell of the stumps or the caught or the LBW refers to Leg Before Wicket and the Run Out . Umpires play a crucial role on field to make appropriate decisions to ensure the fairness of the game is maintained.
I would like to conclude by saying it takes a bit of time to understand cricket but once you understand it you’ll fall in love with it .
